Founder, CEO and Exec. Director

Rael Ross

Rael co-founded the Group and was appointed Executive Director and Joint Chief Executive Officer of Butn in September 2020.

Understanding the need for technology to enable financing and digital distribution as companies seek access to finance, he co-founded Butn with Walter Rapoport. With over 15 years' experience in financial services, technology and mentoring other start-ups, Rael has driven the establishment of the Butn fintech solution.

Rael has created, developed and executed technology and digital projects through several start-ups. Rael co-founded Tsikot.com, one of the leading online automotive platforms and the largest online automotive forum in the Philippines.

As a qualified accountant, Rael has worked in private practice, the Not-for-Profit sector and for Big 4 firms.Rael was awarded a full scholarship at Monash University, where he completed a Bachelor of Accounting. In 2020, Rael was awarded Australian Young Entrepreneur across multiple categories.

Chairman, Non-Exec. Director

Cameron Petricevic

Cameron has spent over 20 years in the financial industry, an experienced Board member of both private and public companies.

He has extensive investment banking experience, including mergers & acquisitions, valuations, initial public offerings and portfolio management, coupled with growing early-stage companies.

Cameron is a qualified Actuary (AIAA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial) and a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Melbourne, with First Class Honours.

He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and founder/treasurer of Brimbank ToRCH, a Royal Children’s Hospital auxiliary charity.

He has held previous roles at AXA Asia Pacific (acquired by AMP), Acorn Capital and as a Partner at Kentgrove Capital.

Cameron is currently a Director/Founder at Lucrum Ventures Pty Ltd and a Non-executive Director and Company Secretary of RocketBoots Ltd (ASX-ROC).

Stan Gordon

Stan Gordon is the Managing Director of Franchised Food Company, one of Australia’s leading franchisors in the quick-service and treats sector.

Over more than two decades, he has built, acquired, and led a portfolio of iconic Australian brands including Cold Rock Ice Creamery, Pretzel World, Healthy Habits, Trampoline Gelato, Mr Whippy, Nutshack, and Europa Coffee.

A seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the franchise industry, Stan brings a deep understanding of brand development, operations, and franchise network growth. His experience spans business strategy, marketing, and creating scalable systems that empower franchisees to succeed.

Stan joins the Butn Board as a Non-Executive Director, bringing his passion for helping businesses grow from the ground up and his belief in Butn’s vision to provide faster, smarter funding solutions to Australia’s franchise community.
